It is growing mainly in Khorasan, Iran, Aragon, Spain, Greece, India, and Turkey.
Saffron Stigmas are about 2 inches, and our premium saffron has only the top portion of the stigma. For cooking release, 1/2 teaspoon of saffron in warm water for about 10 minutes and you will see the yellow saffron color start releasing. Saffron threads should always have the shape of a trumpet.
